Your Rebate Options

The Incentives for Zero-Emission Vehicles (iZEV) Program offers a maximum incentive of $5,000 for qualifying vehicles.* To see if the vehicle you desire qualifies for this rebate, check to see if it is included on this list. This incentive is designed to help offset the higher cost of this new automotive technology. There are two types of incentives available as part of this program:

• Battery-electric, hydrogen fuel cell, and longer range plug-in hybrid vehicles are eligible for up to $5,000.
• Shorter range plug-in hybrid electric vehicles are eligible for up to $2,500.

This rebate is applied at the time of purchase from the dealer.

There is also a provincial rebate of up to $3,000 on a qualifying EV purchase.** This can be combined with other federal rebates, so you can save up to $8,000 on a new electric vehicle. If you are looking to install a charging station at home, you can also take advantage of up to $350 to install a Level 2 charging station in your single-family home.** This is an after-tax rebate. You must apply the $8,000 after the tax has been applied.
