Electric vehicles are perfect for drivers who want to spend less time worrying about service, but what exactly is the Chevy Bolt EV maintenance schedule? Although you should perform monthly checks of basic things like your tires and your washer fluid, you will generally only need to visit our service center once every 12,000 kilometers, or roughly twice per year.
Basic Bolt EV Maintenance: Every 12,000 Kilometers
The basic component of your 12,000-km service appointment is a tire rotation: we’ll move your vehicle’s existing tires from one position to another, ensuring that they all wear down at the same rate. Schedule service online today!
This service appointment also includes a comprehensive inspection of important systems and components. When you bring your Bolt EV into our service bay, we’ll take a look at your:
- Coolant level
- Windshield washer fluid level
- Tire inflation pressures
- Tire wear
- Steering, suspension, and chassis components
- Power steering systems
- Halfshafts and driveshafts
- Restraint system
- Accelerator pedal
- Gas struts
- Tire sealant
As part of your 12,000-km service, we will also lubricate your car’s body components and determine if there are any fluid leaks.
