What to Know About the BC Hydro Rebate

As mentioned, the BC Hydro Rebate can help you get a Level 2 DC charger installed in your home for up to 50% of the costs covered or up to $350, which includes the installation from an electrician and the purchase of a Level 2 charger. How can Burnaby be eligible for this amazing offer? Here are the BC Hydro Rebate requirements:

• You must purchase and install an eligible charger.
• You must submit your application within 90 days of charger installation.
• If the charger was installed by a licensed electrician, you’ll need to provide the invoice showing the proof of payment as well as the installation form.
• If the charger wasn’t installed by a licensed electrician, then you’ll need to provide the invoice showing the proof of payment, the inspection invoice, and a certificate of inspection.
• If you already have a 240V power outlet, then you’ll only need to provide the payment invoice.
